TeleVue Mounting Adapters

These adapters are used to mate TeleVue telescopes and tube rings to a variety of telescope mounts. In some cases these adapters are needed in order to achieve the proper balance when using a TeleVue telescope on a TeleVue mount.

TeleVue 127 Bottom Plate

The BPL-1098 plate may be used to attach any TeleVue ring set to the Gibraltar5 mount. This part must be added to the MRS-4000 ring set when used with the Gibraltar5 mount.

TeleVue CGE/ CI-700 / G-11 Adapter

The TeleVue ACI-0700 adapter is a "D" style dovetail used to mate a TeleVue clamshell ring to mounts with "D" style saddles. Examples include German equatorial mounts by Astro-Physics, Losmandy, and the Celestron CGEM and CGE Pro.

The APB-1008 Telescope balance aid is used to properly position the center of gravity of a TV-76 telescope over a TeleVue mount.

TeleVue Telescope Balance Aid - Long

The APL-1096 Adapter Plate may be used with any TeleVue clamshell ring or the MRS-4000 ring set as an interface to a Gibraltar, Panoramic or Telepod mount. In some cases it may be required for properly positioning the telescope center of gravity.

TeleVue Vixen Mount Adapter

The TeleVue AVT-1011 Vixen Mount Adapter is used to mate a TeleVue clamshell ring to any mount using a standard Vixen saddle. This includes most Vixen mounts, as well as the Celestron CG-5 / Advanced Series and the Meade LXD75.
