TeleVue Diagonals and Adapters

TeleVue offers diagonals with both enhanced aluminum and dielectric coatings. Enhanced aluminum mirrors are 96% reflective. The dielectric coatings on TeleVue Everbrite mirrors are 99% reflective, and are also more durable than aluminum coatings. All 90 degree Televue diagonal bodies are machined from a single piece of aluminum; there are no threaded components that can loosen or separate. Simply stated, these are the best diagonal we sell, and we proudly recommend them to anyone who wants the best.1-1/4 to 2-inch adapters are sold separately.

The SCT adapters listed on this page may be used to attach a 2" star diagonal to many common Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes by Meade and Celestron. This includes the Meade LX90 and all Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. These adapters are not needed with recent Meade LX200GPS and LX200R telescopes featuring the electronic microfocuser.

The TeleVue 60º Everbrite diagonal is designed for terrestrial use, such as spotting birds or other wildlife. The image will be correct in the up-down perspective, but reversed in left-right.
