Meade ETX Series telescopes are not only the most popular of all Meade telescopes, they are also among the most popular entry level go-to telescopes in the world. The ETX-80 is a refractor suited for widefield low to medium power observing, whereas the larger ETX-90 and ETX-125 feature Maksutov Cassegrain optics.

Whether you choose the economical ETX-80 refractor or one of the more advanced Maksutov-Cassegrain models, the Meade Autostar computer will automatically go to the object of your choice. The ETX-80 models feature the Meade Autostar 494 computer with a 1400 object database. The larger ETX-90 and ETX-125 models include the more capable Autostar 497 computer with a 30,000 object database.
