Meade Telescopes
Meade takes out all the hassles and puts in all the fun
with the all-new LS featuring LightSwitch
technology. All start-up alignment functions are
performed with just a flip of the switch.
The Meade LX200 Series telescopes have set the standard
in amateur go-to telescopes for over a decade. The new
Meade LX200-ACF Series with Advance Coma-Free (ACF)
optics make the LX200 better than ever.
The Meade LT telescopes are essentially Meade ETX-LS telescopes without the completely
automated alignment capability. They are optically equivalent to the ETX-LS Series and
mechanically very similar.
Meade LightBridge Dobsonian telescopes provide you with
an unbeatable combination of big aperture and ultra
portability - all for about the same price as an ordinary
tube dobsonian. So get a LightBridge truss-dob. And
prepare to cross the universe.
The Meade LXD75 Series telescopes are a value oriented
line for the intermediate to advanced observer. The LXD75
Series feature a German equatorial mount with Meade's
AutoStar computer system for the convenience of go-to
object location.
Meade ETX Series telescopes are among the most popular
entry level go-to telescopes in the world. Meade's
ETX-Premier Edition telescopes automatically find level
and north, allowing the telescope to nearly find its own
alignment stars. You just enter your location or zip
code.
Nothing beats a high quality refractor (for crisp wide
field observing and imaging. Meade Series 5000 ED
refractors produce pinpoint stars and very high contrast.
They also offer the widest range of useful magnification
of any telescope type.
The DS Series is Meade's entry level line of go-to
telescopes. Meade Digital Series telescopes bring
microprocessor technology and quality optics to the
serious beginner with a limited budget.
Meade's most popular Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope just
got even better. The new LX90-ACF features Meade's
Advanced Coma-Free Optics that produce pinpoint stars all

Meade Eyepieces
Meade Series 5000 5-element eyepieces offer a generous
60° apparent field-of-view, compared with the
50° apparent field of most any Plössl eyepiece
on the market today. Enjoy a wider field of view
without paying a premium price.
Meade Series 5000 Ultra Wide Angle eyepieces offer an
astounding 82 degree apparent field of view. These
eyepieces are ideal for telescopes with undriven mounts
because the target remains in the field for a longer
time.
Meade Series 5000 Super Wide Angle eyepieces boast a
68° apparent field-of-view and image resolution
that is razor sharp from edge-to-edge. These eyepieces
are a perfect match for Schmidt-Cassegrains.
Meade Accessories
Meade Deep Sky Imagers offer an inexpensive
introduction to CCD photography, allowing every
astronomer to shoot and process stunning photographs of
galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and planets. Use these
imagers in place of an eyepiece.
