Visual Backs for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes

A visual back connects the rear cell of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (and their derivatives) to a star diagonal. Most Schmidt-Cassegrains are supplied with 1-1/4 inch diagonals, but some of these telescopes can benefit greatly by switching to a two-inch visual back and upgrading to a two-inch diagonal. We think such an upgrade is generally a good idea on eight-inch scopes if the mechanical clearances exist, and it is an essential upgrade for ten-inch and larger telescopes.
