Telescope Eyepiece Adapters

Eyepiece adapters are used to adapt from one focuser or star diagonal format to another eyepiece format. Many telescopes are supplied with two-inch focusers or diagonals, but the majority of eyepieces will always have 1-1/4 inch barrels. TeleVue 2-inch Star diagonals are sold without 1-1/4-inch eyepiece adapters; therefore, an adapter must be purchased separately to accommodate these eyepieces. Owners of longer refractors will especially appreciate the TeleVue equalizer adapter which helps to maintain telescope balance when switching between heavy 2-inch eyepiece and lightweight 1-1/4-inch eyepieces.
