Stellarvue Telescopes
Stellarvue specializes in hand crafted ED doublet and apochromatic triplet refractor telescopes of exceptional quality. Their top of the line apochromatic telescopes feature air-spaced triplet lens cells, combining exceptional color correction, tack sharp images, and fast focal ratios.
Stellarvue refractors have been some of the hottest selling telescopes in our store since 2008. Take just one look at one of these exquisite instruments and it is not very hard to see why. These telescopes combine advanced features like standard two-speed focusers and available binoviewer friendly models with a beautiful fit and finish. Naturally the real purpose of a telescope is to look through and not at it, and we are confident that you will simply love the optics of your Stellarvue refractor. All Stellarvue telescopes are triple tested, including a star test, at Stellarvue's facility in Auburn, California to ensure that the optics are top notch.
A new Focus on Imaging Applications
Effective June of 2011, Stellarvue has announced a number of new telescope models with an "AP" designation in their part numbers. These models feature either 2.5 or 3-inch Crayford focusers with threaded drawtubes. This allows field flatteners to be threaded on, providing a connection that both more secure and squared off to the optical axis. These new focusers also have a higher lifting capacity. Stellarvue believes that these features will appeal to imagers, and we concur.
