Losmandy Telescope Mounts and Dovetail Systems

Losmandy offers a number of accessories for use with their German equatorial mounts, including polar axis finders, extra counterweights, power supplies, clutches and knob sets.
Dovetail Plates are the heart of the Losmandy accessory system. Dovetail plates may be mounted top and bottom of the tube assembly, and accommodate camera mounts or guidescope rings. All four-inch dovetails fit Losmandy saddle plates.
These guidescope rings and other accessories mate with Losmandy D Series dovetail bars. They are commonly applied to astrophotography and custom mounting applications.
Losmandy V-Series dovetails are smaller and lighter than their D-Series cousins, but in many cases will perform the same job. These dovetails will fit and saddle conforming to the Vixen standard.
Losmandy V-Series guidescope rings attach to V-Series dovetail bars, allowing a guidescope to be mounted atop a Schmidt-Cassegrain OTA or in a side-by-side configuration or a German equatorial mount.
