The newly enhanced Celestron X-Cel LX eyepiece series represents an interesting upgrade to the standard Plossl eyepiece supplied with most telescopes. They offer a 60° apparent field of view vs. the standard 50° apparent field of a Plossl. That difference translates into more visual real estate for your eye to enjoy. With a brand new sleek and robust design and a twist-up eye guard, these eyepieces are especially designed for comfort and ease of use. They each feature 6-element fully multi-coated optics for magnificent wide field performance. X-Cel LX eyepieces are parfocal and require little to no focusing when changing from low to high power. The X-Cel LX series is offered in the following seven sizes: 2.3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm and 25 mm.
